Introducing, for the first time, a way for NATURE to generate royalties from its own sounds to support its own conservation… Sounds right! We created a variable typeface to be used as a distinct and expressive display typeface across all communication platforms. A bold flare serif with a variable height axis, that aims to visualise the concept of sound. We are beyond excited to see the work that AKQA came up with, and see the identity and typeface unfold from New York to Jakarta. Huge high 5 to all the partners and all the artists who decided to take part and make this project a reality."

MobilePay is an app that eases money transfer and simplifies everyday payments. With a very limited brand window, the typeface becomes a very powerful drive for personal and confident user experience. "Paytype" is a pleasant typeface with human energy and play to it. The design is based on the logotype and initial type sketch designed by agency 1508 — who also developed the new visual identity and the apps. Playtype brought font knowledge and engineering to the project, extended the design to a fully functional font in two styles."

KBH Sans is a typeface developed for the city of Copenhagen, taking inspiration from both the historical Art Nouveau curves as well as more modern, minimalistic and accessible lines – the same duality that characterises the city.⁠ It's used on large scale billboards but also on documents and posters by the municipality, and on street signage around Copenhagen. It has become the city's own typographical voice. e-Types created the visual identity for the municipality, including a rounded, open and flexible logo – reflecting both the dynamics and the balance of the city. ⁠"
